There is a trend in shifting from client-server architecture to cloud computing. Thus, delivering business solutions into the cloud computing infrastructure is becoming relevant and significant. In Philippines, a new enterprise technology is being introduced as NetSuite launches the first cloud ERP suite for the local market – the NetSuite OneWorld PH.

Taking the advantages of the cloud, NetSuite OneWorld PH offers a first of its kind on-demand system that delivers real-time global business management and financial consolidation to mid-sized companies with multinational and multi-subsidiary operations. As a fully localized version of the NetSuite OneWorld, the enterprise application has been fully localized for the accounting rules, usage conventions, statutory and regulatory requirements of the Philippine market. It simplifies the complex tax reporting requirements mandated by the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

I’ve been a subscriber of PLDT myDSL for more than a year now and I am very satisfied and contented. Choosing the most powerful subscription package that time (that is, I am subscribed to Plan 2500) is one of the best decisions I made. No regrets at all. My almost filled 500GB external hard drive can attest to that.

Now, I am informed that PLDT myDSL is now offering a bundle deal for a super fast connection by a modem and WiFi. Then, I recommend you to seize the opportunity of maximizing the enjoyment of your own social life by subscribing to PLDT myDSL + WiFi!

PLDT myDSL modem+wifi

The quickest installation you could possibly get is the same plug-and-play feature of the modem. PLDT literally extended your network since it covers a greater area of connectivity to the internet with WiFi connection.

My younger sister watches YouTube and livestream channels a lot more than TV while I download, socialize and spread love online. And WiFi connection makes no sibling troubles. That would mean a lot for bigger families or barkadas living under one roof right?

And speaking of network, I can hardly wait to watch The Social Network that features one of my idols for life, Mark Zuckerberg and his brainchild, Facebook. Well, what can you expect from a geek fan? No less than creating a parody of Facebook – my own masterpiece, Facebuko!

The Social Network is to Facebook, as PLDT myDSL modem+wifi is for more virtual sharing of creative juice from our favorite, Facebuko!

I couldn’t think of any way of sharing the juiciest Facebuko but the PLDT myDSL way. Now with WiFi!

So meet Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg (and Facebuko creator Jonas Roque) on October 19, 2010 (Tuesday) at Greenbelt 3 Cinema 1 as Nuffnang and PLDT myDSL hold a special screening of The Social Network!

Real Love

We are all suffering from cancer. We tend to become indifferent, apathetic and blind of our social responsibilities. Due to fast-paced lifestyle nowadays and its high demands, we are unaware that we’re slowly eaten by social carcinogens.

Real Love Campaign

I came across Ms. Janette Toral’s cause. She, and other bloggers as well, is supporting the Real Love Campaign, spearheaded by Unilever Foodsolutions in partnership with Team Manila for the benefit of Kythe Foundation.

Hey, that’s a good cure to social cancer! Let you and I spread the campaign. Your small time and some few clicks would mean a lot to the beneficiaries of Kythe Foundation – kids with cancer.

Overflowing Love

8.10.2010

The overflowing love started when Facebuko got in to the list of Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs of 2010. It was overwhelming because I didn’t campaign for it unlike what I did last year at Mashable’s Open Web Awards where I landed among the top contenders as Best Brand Use of Facebook. Furthermore, I was humbled since the harder-to-please blogosphere helped me to be on the spot.

I used to be indifferent in the blogosphere by choice. I am quite afraid that fans of Marian Rivera or Uma Khouny would pick on me to avenge of their idols. Fortunately, the bloggers and I are on the same boat. My acceptance of that recognition was my first appearance as Facebuko.

It’s overwhelming when people approach you, tell that they’re avid readers of my brainchild and take pictures with me. If there’s one benefit I like most about blogging, it is popularity. Hahaha. This PBB audition reject finally discovered his real home.

(Thanks, Erica May Naranjo for the picture.)
